I am always delighted to share about Aussie designers!

Contrary to popular belief, Aussie designers are equally talented and despite having to deal with opposite seasons I guess that just makes them (& their amazing designs) all the more special. Hopefully someday I will fall into that category too!

So here's SOLLIS, a brand I discovered recently, and they happen to design accessories for Gorman!

Designed by Eleanor Ford, SOLLIS Jewellery is one of the most exciting Australian accessory brands to emerge in recent years. The ethos behind SOLLIS is the exploration of the relationship between craft and fashion, a notion that Eleanor has been fascinated by throughout her many years in the industry in London, Paris, and now Sydney. Traditional techniques are employed to form contemporary fashion pieces which reflect modern trends, while also conveying a timeless classicism. Eleanor deftly blends patterns and textures to give her jewellery a tactile and touchable nature. Her dedication to craft comes from a love for the creative process and each piece is beautifully and painstakingly hand-crafted.

Denim

Denim is on trend this season, not that it isnt already a versatile option! love how denim can be worked in a variety of ways.. the pictures say more than i do!

We will be bringing in some denim pieces for our second AW12 collection.. shirts and jackets. watch out for them!

Nails

i've been meaning to share this for awhile!

now that nail stickers are the rage, i've happily hopped on the bandwagon and tried on some amazing nail stickers myself. though i have to say they are not exactly that easy to apply on, but they are still so pretty nevertheless! but i really adore these amazing proenza schouler's marbling nails.. its so refreshing to literally match nail designs with texture prints!

Street Style Inspiration

i'm not sure if you share those moments with me.. but at times i find myself struggling with wardrobe crises and wind up concluding i really need a major wardrobe revamp (which is not true entirely). i know, #firstworldpains totally, but i've come to discover that there are inspiration blogs out there that are pretty helpful in injecting some life into my sterile imagination sometimes...

i'm gonna try and steer away from the usual norms i.e The Sartoralist, Jak N Jil, Lookbook, Chictopia like we all know already (but click on those links if you havent!) ... and dive straight into my latest finds and obsessions <3

I love her eye for prints, colors and textures and she certainly inspires me that fashion is not always as straightforward as a mathematical equation. p.s adore that Sass & Bide clutch!

This duo is A-MAZING! they not only have street style columns but they break them down further into categories like style tips, celebrity style, models off-duty looks, must-haves for the season etc... absolutely fashion heaven and my daily dose!

i'm so stoked that the girls behind this awesome blog are from Perth! head over to indulge in some of their fashion musings.. you can expect content that steers away from mainstream that will give you that edge you need/want!

Arm Candy

The recent fad on arm candies has certainly taken the fashion world by storm.
